Too many. Too low. Too loud.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have recently implemented NextGen, a new satellite and GPS based aircraft navigation system, that has lowered and condensed flight paths right over many Los Angeles neighborhoods.
The quantity, frequency and altitude of these flights directly overhead poses a serious health threat to our community and lowers our quality of life and enjoyment of our homes.
This group is for residents of West Adams, and greater Los Angeles, impacted by these changes. We will focus our community efforts to mitigate the implementation of Nextgen at LAX, and work to take our community back from the jet freeway installed right over our heads.
